Why even smoke cigarettes when the other option are the same

I'll be honest. Getting back on the sunflower seed bandwagon has gotten my habit down to about 1/2 pack a day. Can't do vapes, end up puffing every 5 min and that's no good either

 

and did you know that what other people do is not your business?
you have a choice to get into or not get into a truck that has been or is currently being smoked in, farted in , over aftershaved in or whatever else may bother you

 

In so much as I agree with you that what other people do is not my business, try this on for size.

Bring assigned truck into shop for PM, get assigned a spare to use. Climb into cab, find passenger side filled with garbage and rotten stinkin chicken bones on the floor, along with filled ash tray and windows so dirty you could hardly see out 'em.

Go to get truck back from PM, find grease on the steering wheel, shifter, door handle, & seat.

Get re-assigned another truck and while cleaning it out from previous pig driver, find his "pain pills" under the mattress.

What would you do, just climb in and go, maybe you would, not me, not when I gotta live in it. When I first started driving, I took it upon myself to clean trucks that were previously driven by pigs before I headed out. After awhile that gets old, so nope not doing it anymore.

We leased our trucks from Ryder. Don't want to tender us a clean truck, OK no problem we'll lease elsewhere....

 

I believe your last sentence reenforced my point. everything between your first and last sentence is somewhat irrelevant to the op's complaint. as to your complaint, you did have choices and you excersised them. myself? I would have made the issue known to management and if they didn't deal with it I would exercise my choice to deal with it or move on to a better company.

again, everyone has choices

 

This Thread is as much relevant as which is better driving a manual or an auto shift. Some some will say driving an auto-ship is better because it's easier. While others will say the manual is better because they can do more with it. It's all a matter of personal perspective in what somebody wants to do. Nobody's going to change anybody's mind. Just respect that each person has their different opinion and will stick with it.

 

you are correct but your OP was you wanting others to conform to what you want. I merely pointed out that that is not how freedom works.

 

Why you guys still smoke cigarettes
Vape ,smokeless, gum all have the same effect and cheaper
It is not the end of the day if i in smokers truck for couppa days but cigarettes gonna kill you the fastest.
