This pays $1200 on 178 miles. And it's only about 70 miles from the load to the best coast.

Nothing like the money they make on the thread next door, but much better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

On the sign in sheet at the shipper, I noticed out of 14 names, including me, 5 were Landstar's, and one LS looked like he was lights out, curtains drawn, doing at least a 10 in the lot lol.

I noticed Pall Mall advertised at the fuel island in Missouri for $46 carton. $10 cheaper than anything else.

Can't complain about that. Little wear and tear on the truck. Plus it's easy on you. I would do it too.

Those chrome plated, fully actuated, genuine, accessory glad hands had to cost more than that thing.

I'm sitting here on this Amtrak train. Last time I was on a train was @ 1965. Before Amtrak. My dad worked for the old Santa Fe and we could ride the passenger train for free. Of course the last thing he wanted to do on vacation was to ride on a train.
Anyway, train was 40 minutes late this morning when I got on. Went through Texarkana then south to Marshall, west through Longview, now 55 minutes behind. Supposed to get to Ft Worth at 1:25. Hoping for 2:30.
Still better than that darn Greydog would have been.

The problem with point to point trackage is, if the train is late. You had best hope the train isnt trying to make up for lost time

This is the seat heating situation at the moment.

No one is moving until The OM finishes her nap.
