Shifts the same as a 8/9 speed, you can just split the gears in half, usually only done on the top side and even then just 7 and 8 unless you are off road or in traffic or such
1 direct, 3 direct, 4th over, 5 over, 6 over, 7 direct, 7 over, 8 direct, 8 over
you really don’t even need to touch the clutch with the newer rtlos, the old rt/o series you would to make it easier on the trans or you could pull it out of gear and put it back inLast edited: Oct 30, 2020

Got a about a week in with it I found the easiest way to spilt for me right now is something like this 7L-7H-8H then hurry put it in low then back to high when I get higher Rpms
Been trying to make a Smooth shift from 7H to 8L just doesn't seem to go in easy feels like I got to first let the rpms drop then rev them to where it should be to get it to go in smooth650cat425 Thanks this. -
If you shift from 7 High to 8 low you're only shifting half a gear. You're going to drop less RPMs as you make the shift.
So the timing of your shift has to be faster.
