Nobody bothered to tell the Freight brokers that.....Lot of loads south of a buck a mile......... -
now im an independent but i can tell you this, who ever said that had to be a democrat and a liberal. flat bed freight and drop deck freight has come up a little over the last couple of weeks in the south but not enough to fill your pockets by any means , its gonna be awhile before it is back to normal.
there are still way to many drivers out of work and to many companys that have aplied to many stupid requirments to get employed, and way to many guys that are still losing there trucks i dont think i would call that a good thing but thats the way it is when liberals take power just look at california course i hope they all starve to death in that state.
but we will make it might be tough but when its over a trucker will still be there .
best of luck to all.----southernpride -
Let's see it's mid October in a good economy a van driver should be able to run themselves ragged until about Thanksgiving before things ease up. In this economy it is probably winding down.
Flat bedders usually can find work but we have a housing issue and the banks aren't lending so that is a new wrench in everything. I have a friend whose been keeping his 6 trucks busy and profitable though.
Reefers we don't get a break....food is food, where it's on your table, in a restaurant or at the local shelter. -
Intermodal, in the interior of the country has been dead as hell since April. We started to get a little busy for Aug., Sept, but now it's back to 4 day work weeks, maybe even 3 day work weeks.
