I used to go down to Somerset quite a bit, my 2nd wife was from there. and her folks lived there till they moved to Lexington. used to park at Orens often and at that lil place east of town too. I liked the area down there a lot, but the psyco I was married too is a different story, lol. but ya, have some good memories from that area, haven't been there for a long time now.

My son takes Bandit everywhere with him. He goes to pay his cell phone bill, and now they have treats there, just for him. I had to laugh though, he took him to the parts store the other day, and the guy wouldn't come outside, he's scared of blue healers. ROFL He could tell Bandit has healer in him, so he assumed that he has that temperament. Bandit is more of the Collie temperament, than anything, but in a low key kind of a way. We had another Border Collie, and he ran us ragged, literally, so we had to find him a ranch to live on, where he would have a job. He was very high strung for some reason. But he's really happy now, has another collie teaching him the ropes of herding, and he feels useful.
Bandit has a job here too, he chases the rabbits out of our yard, and the neighbors cats. LOL But he plays with our cat, they are best buds.
He's just now becoming graceful, and can jump quite high to catch a ball or Frisbee.
It only took me about three days to house train him at 10 weeks. Smartest dog I've ever had. Wouldn't trade him for anything.

I thought the cat and dog were friends the cat wasn't overly concerned by the dog jumping at him or her in the video.

Yup, they are buds, but bandit doesn't like any cats other than Felix. And the neighbor has taken to feeding every stray cat in the area (people dump them out here). So they come over and try to get in our garbage, walk all over our vehicles, etc. They are scurvy mangy things. She's had problems with opossums and coons too, because she feeds them outside. We live on the edge of the woods that are next to the river. All kinds of wild life out here. You should hear the screech owls. LOL They make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
One day, she's going to find a skunk in her garage, that will teach her to feed strays. LOL -
