I will be paying cash and I'm also forming my (new) authority. Are the insurance companies going to absolutely freak out? My rational was that there are loads of older trucks on the road without this system. But still...I'm somewhat nervous. Do you guys think that I will have trouble eventually selling the truck? It's not too late to change the spec, even though doing that would be embarrassing.

Note - New style 'Progressive CC' will still be enabled. But there will not be 'Adaptive CC'.

They’ll care that your a new entrant…. And charge you plenty.

I’ve never been asked about collision avoidance on my truck by the insurance agent…….

This is something you should be discussing with your insurance agent.

This is a fundamental question I had, thanks. Maybe another company will "ask" about collision avoidance, but apparently not all of them do (yet).

I would pay extra to not have it if I was buying a truck, but I am just a lowly company man.

It makes a whopping $3 a week difference on our insurance for truck that has it, compared to truck that doesn’t.

It's much more desirable to not have it at resale.
