I hope the work for you. Nothing more frustrating then spending the money on tires and see irregular wear start only to spend more money trying to figure out the cause only to find out it's the tires.

Yep. I put a set of GY drives on my previous truck when I just started out as a o/o that started wearing squirrely on the first trip with them. Tire shop gave every excuse from alignment to climate change.
Was talking to the shop manger at the company I was with to figure out this wear (the parent company was GYs number one fan) he said you bought sh***y tires, I have a trailer full of those same tires that look exactly like that.

Almost makes ya wonder if the the tire manufacturers send their tires that don't pass QC but still look like a tire to the equipment manufacturers.
I hesitantly put Bridgestones on coz the tire shop talked me out of Michelin trailer tires. Said they had a lot that were chipping rubber off the tread. After that I had talked to a couple guys that said they had the same problem with Michelins.

That’s all I’ve been running for years. 590s before the 591 came out. Got 2 new ones on steers, and 4 old steers on my Drives. Average anywhere from 250-270k that way.

When I go for Drives. Probably get Firestone’s. Hopefully less than $4k, otherwise it will be whatever I can find. The Chinese Cooper Roadmaster Drives do pretty good, I hear. Just about all the Drives copy Bridgestone tread, anymore. T/As currently pushing Double Coins. The original “Good” Chinese tire. They look pretty cheap. The markets changing constantly. Saw Bridgestone yesterday. Made in Malaysia

Do you remember what drives they where? Marathon LHD? I only have exp with the G182's in GY but were starting to look at the Fuel Max RTD's Product Details | Goodyear Truck Tires

If I had my way, I would have Hankook Flex DL12's on everything, but they're impossible to find in Canada right now.

Yea, we had to scrap a ton of the Mich XTE trailer tries, cause they were chunking out.

Don't waste your time with Roadmaster or Double Coin Drives, (or Trailer Tires for Double Coin). The NEW Roadmaster Trailer Tires work, but the old ones were a disaster. Firestone or Hankook for cheaper drives/steers.

I think they were 572's or something like that marathon lhd, fuel max, yada yada, I do remember one of the big selling points was they had 31/32's of tread. The turned out to be a negative coz it took so long to wear those square ######## down. Eventually I just changed then I think at about 14 or 15/32 because they were so flat spotted it was like riding on octagons.
