And there is a little thing like the money. If I was a bit younger, I think I could have cracked $200K this year. Not to the truck, to me.

It's one of the reasons I find TTR confusing you see, because everyone on here makes more than me and The OM, and sometimes we can't sleep at night trying to figure out how they do it.

You know the deal, this site is full of truckers and you'll hear a lot of stories, some of them may even be true.

Top Secret. I can’t disclose any details. I’ve said too much already. I have to think about your Safety first. I’m sure you understand. Lol.

That’s how Trucking works. I once made about $2000 in one week in 1995. Worked 100 hrs on the clock. 1.5x after 8, 1.75x after 10, 2x after 12. Best check I ever had. It was Christmas time. They fired Me on my 29th day. About a week before Christmas. I was so mad. Thats when I went OTR, and bought a Truck 6 mos later. I mentioned it once at the TS counter, soon others had made much more, even double as a Company Driver. Lol. I have to say, the Truckers in the past were much much worse as far as BS and ignorance than today. Had some real Characters. Much more than now, believe it or not. Here’s my favorite pic. First Truck, bought June 96, we’re on a vacation run, down south somewhere, while my Auto run was down. We did it quite a few summers. Had a lot of fun back then. The WS was a blast to drive. Held the road like a sports car. No rattles. Nylon washers on every bolt inside the Truck. Solid Steel cab and doors that closed line a GM. You could reach over and roll the passengers window down, it was so small. Dash like an FLD only much nicer. All button tuck interior. Big 66” bunk, when my back was out, I’d fall into it. Lol.

Thought so, it was an exciting time in my life. Still young enough, and taking chances, with everyone telling you it can’t be done. I’ve been very Fortunate. Things always seem to work out for the best. Can’t complain.

Night all, got a hot Load of Freight that just can’t wait. Need to get up the road, within 11 hrs of my destination, before shutting down. I’m already chasing this Load. I’ll be Re Loading and headed right back, another 1200 miles. I’ll be running all night to deliver Wednesday, take my break, and run all night, repeat to be back Friday morning. Find a Load Friday, then crash out. Get a 34 on the weekend. Feels good to be bumping 70 hrs. Been a while since I’ve ran hard. Real hard that is, line Cattleman Lol. I worry about these young Guys. More to life than working all the time. Oh well. I shouldn’t talk. Always went for the most available. Still not rich though. Hmmmmmm. Be safe
