Truck shakes bad for 3-4 seconds and stops for 1 sec. Seems to happen from 0-30 and eases off until I get up to 60 and back at it again. Pretty much only does it while loaded. But it will do it empty sometimes it’s just not near as intense. Checked the drive line multiple times. Had a shop check it out as well. Also had another o/o check it out and nobody can see anything. Put new Michelin steer tires on it. 2 weeks ago I went over rough railroad tracks about 10mph and after going over them my trucks steering started going back and fourth like crazy. Got out to see if I blew a steer tire and check the truck out and couldn’t see anything. Went on for 6 miles and turned onto another rode and it seemed to go away. That was with trailer #1. Last Monday I got a different trailer and drove 2 hours empty and didn’t notice anything. Got loaded and once I hit 60mph I felt the truck shake as described above. The trailer I’m pulling now you can see the tires are cupping. It’s a quad axle trailer. Could the trailer be what’s causing me problems ? Weird because of what happen with the other trailer going over the tracks. Could it be an engine problem ? I feel like I feel It more in the seat than the steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated

Use a temp gun to take temperatures of the tires and hubs after a long drive. Usually the hottest tire or hub will be the problem. Vibrations can also be from the drive line not set properly, angles where the driveshaft meets the rear differential. Sometimes a piece of branch or something has changed the air ride suspension adjustment rod and that can cause vibrations. Check all the steering links, could be the rod that goes from steering sector to axle or tie rod ends. Also look at the torque arms on the rear axles, the rubber bushings wear out over time and need to be replaced. Look for unusual tire wear and if you let go of the steering wheel while driving, does it pull one way or the other? Run your hand over the steering tires, if the have sharp wear edges, could be toe in or out. Contact the alignment guy at Des Moines or Kansas City, Mike Becket.

On the drag link the ball joints on there seem to look “wore out” . I could twist it with not much effort at all. The shop said it’s suppose to do that. Wish I could upload a video of it. I took a short video of twisting it when I found it

As for the vibration under a load, that definitely sounds like a driveline problem. Maybe pull the driveshafts and take them to a driveline shop and get them checked for balance and twist. -
Here’s pictures of the trailer tires. I’ll have to do that. I’m just so dumb founded that it only started once I started pulling this trailer. And when I’m getting up to speed to 30 mph that just started today. Otherwise it seemed like it was only at 60-65mph when it would shake. And it would shake the whole cab. I could hear everything in the sleeper shaking.

I would check the air pressure in the tires,might be over inflated.

I had a very similar issue when my company was using goodyear tires. Like you, I actually thought I had blown a steer tire it was shaking so violently. Turns out my steer tires were going out of balance and out of round. Convinced boss to switch to Michelins, and had them properly balanced, and it 100% went away.
I know you said you are already running michelins, so I guess I would suggest rechecking the balance. And don’t use those stupid auto-balance beads, make sure they put it on a balancer and do it the right way.

I had a bad shock on the drives,right rear,it was smooth until I got up to 60,then it shook the truck bad.Replaced the shocks and the shake went away.
