So, I figured out who I want to work for being that they don’t do north east runs. (Danny Herman Trucking) but here is the issue. I live in Pennsylvania and they won’t allow me to take home time in PA, which is fine. I’d like to move down to El Paso, Texas but I also don’t want to waste money on an apartment if I’m doing otr since that’s money that can be saved. Not to mention I can’t make money appear out of thin air to even get a place not to mention my credit isn’t the best. Lol any suggestions on living arrangements?

You would simply be amongst The COUNTLESS DRIVERS since the beginning that have literally lived OTR and taken "time off" wherever.

The NO Northeast thing is wonderful, however, it depends upon the "tradeoff", like, for example, lots of Florida and/or California.
    CHEERS!!

Do you have a vehicle; car, van, pickup.?
There's a way to have a Texas or Florida address without actually having a place to live and it's perfectly legal. Florida is easier than Texas, but both are easy.

Well, maybe you can join Escapees RV Club anyway. You can always say, you plan to trade it after relocating. You don't need an RV to become a member.
Escapees RV Club (Home) · Freedom Driven
You can join the one in Texas if you plan to work for Danny Herman. Dozens or hundreds of truckers have done this.
Mail Service - your mail will also go to the RV Club address.
When you join, you'll change your vehicle registration to the Escapees location and also change your CDL to Texas. Then you're a legal resident and also no longer pay state income taxes.
Do the Escapees membership, then live in the truck.

Florida is easier than Texas, but don't know if Danny Herman hires in Florida.
No state income taxes in Texas or Florida.

I think this photo is a USPS contractor delivering mail to Escapees.

And don't be "solar-powered." A lot of them frown on that.
