Chicago construction traffic nightmare for next 3 yrs

    Begining monday march 20th I94 thru Chicago. North of downtown will be a nightmare for the next 3 years. They are replacing 36 bridges and pavement.
    2 lanes in and out bound of the Kennedy expressway will be closed. I highly suggest you run I294 and pay the tolls. That stretch of road is terrible already and now add in the construction.

    Sounds ugly... but I can't recall a time when it was ever easy to get through that burg. o_O

    Smoothest passage was always found around 0300-0400 hours... :rolleyes:

    Yup, there are a few deliveries we have right smack in the middle of this crap that I'm praying I don't get for the next 3 years. I'm sure I'll catch them all this week.
