Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Been pretty rough past couple weeks,on the bright side heard there was a couple new lanes opening at the end of the month.
Never seen Richmond like this,got a near Miami delivery yesterday that doesn't deliver till Monday,so abilene said I could stop by the house for a couple days,will leave out in the morning.

 

Down at a new publix near Miami,with about 8 other trucks,new construction looks like they just put up the forth wall yesterday,kinda places.

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

 

Finished 34 in WM and got pm done and dropped new castle yesterday and picked up a single stop BH to Bridgeton, MO for tomorrow. Probably get sent to Volpi to reload I imagine or bounced back to New Castle. Hope to see the body shop soon to replace that plate that broke off my left bumper piece or move into a new truck if they ever get a 23 solo available or a 22 volvo open in good condition. Waiting for a message that my truck a has been sold being it has 464k on the clock.

 

Dropped a loaded trailer in Kentwood, MI on Saturday. Was supposed to hook the empty they had there, but it had a busted air tank valve and the shop truck that came out didn't have the part and wouldn't have it until Monday. Took me four hours to find this out.

Left the empty there and bobtailed to New Castle, picked up the Valley Park, MO/Fenton, MO Boar's Head load. Delivered those this morning. Mudflap got caught under the tires when I was backing in. Had to get the bracket put back into operational shape and mudflap replaced. Got into the shop bay as soon as I arrived, and was out 30 minutes later. Considered purchasing a lottery ticket with that kind of luck on my side.

Currently back in New Castle at the Mr. Fuel. Grabbing a BH load tomorrow for Alpharetta, GA, delivering at Dark O'Clock Wednesday morning.

 

Ended up getting bounced back to New Castle for a Sarasota, FL load due wed at 0800. Another one haven’t been to yet since Ive been here.

 

New Castle seems to be where all the cool kids are hanging out these days.

 

Honesty, I don't what you're worried about? Lonesome should be around now any time to alleviate any of your concerns.
