And, I don’t mean the ‘Prepass’ or ‘Weigh in Motion’ ones.
I see truckers passing all kinds of weigh stations. Are these
truckers just taking the chance? Or, do they know something
    I do not?

How do you know they don't have prepass?

    Driverwyze?
Perhaps their trailers are empty or they know that they are light?

My question is why do you care?

I have Drivewyze, and am directed to bypass the weigh station at least 90% of the time.

    JoeyJunk and Blagoje Thank this.

So how do you know which trucks have prepass or drivewyze to determine they are just blowing past the station?

Going into MN I am often the only truck not pulling in because I also have drivewyze and get the bypass message.

    JoeyJunk and Blagoje Thank this.

Honestly, I don’t KNOW it; but, it seems like many of the
states and sites do not have these technologies. Maybe
    I am wrong about this.

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.

I use Drivewyze for weigh station bypass and I get the bypass about 85% of the time. I actually started using the Drivewyze service in its infancy well before it was in the weigh stations themselves. Now it has expanded greatly across the country and I hardly ever worry about being pulled in.

They are a new type of truck, they identify as light weight so they are not required to stop at a weigh station as it is considered insensitive to the weight challenged truck. The biological labeling (GVRW) is to be ignored.

There are no transponders or visible signs for Drivewyze.
