The beauty of a US passport with hazmat and TWIC.

I went this past Thursday for the background check for hazmat. I have a passport and TSA Global Entry, they notified me Friday I was good to go.

 

I recently got my CDL Permit and I passed Hazmat, Tanker and Passenger all at the same time. I was told that after my fingerprinting background check came in they would send me an updated card with the H on it. Been reading online that won't get Hazmat until after I pass my driving test and I don't know which one to believe. I also sent in all my application for a passport 2 weeks ago ad will start driving school April 3rd. Im looking into the TWIC right now and I'm going to get that ASAP. Are there any other certifications that I should look at getting?

 

Answered your point of the Hazmat in the other thread you created. Please don't spam messages all over the place because you didn't get an immediate response. If you're going to driving school, than no, you get nothing until you pass the driving test. Sorry.

Yes. Which is why I'll be letting my FAST card expire this time around.

 

Getting a FAST card will also open doors but may be tied to your Pass-Port expire date.

 

So you cant get into Canada with out the poke ? But you can get a standing ovation ,if your a former twin lighting bolt dude from the 40's, in parliament. Stephen King couldnt make this up .
