We are teamsters here in Mn but in all my 30+ years as a teamster I've never seen a group of men so self centered and focused on themselves.
We are in contract negotiations currently and Monday after a safety meeting a coworker and I got into a shouting match over contractual offers and demands.
We are friends and socialize outside of work. Some namby pamby went to our manager and squeeled like a little girl.
When asked I told him our union talks, yelling or otherwise, were not his business and to let his stool pigeon know this isn't winning him any loyalty points from the rank and file.
BTW our stock was at a all time high today before settling back a bit.
Maybe it will split before I retire at years end

We do have 8 new hires in the last year so that could be part of it but I think its the economy in general that's bogged down.
No cofidence means investors and consumers aren't spending freely.
Seems like it's one situation after another and I know the transportation sector is down.viper822004 Thanks this. -
Dennixx and viper822004 Thank this.

I think AP might also be down because we’ve been spending and investing a lot on hydrogen facilities. They are really pushing hydrogen for the future. Makes investors nervous. But we’ve been pretty busy and short on drivers. We have a lot of contractors running right now.

Messer's anti-trust was up last year so they are entering the market now and looking to expand. They haven't been able to compete for 10 years but their anti-trust is up, and they want to flood the market with pent-up offshore money. Messer Allentown PA hired all the local KAG cryo guys, kicked us fly team guys out, then only allowed AP to load. They quit letting SPT and GenOX load, and want LGT to load elsewhere.

Typically its people that have never operated a CMV. Or never done your job at all that set policies.

Well don't you all stand while driving? Because it's the only way to pay attention to the gauges on the dash

We have this type and we’re only supposed to tap on the ears not hammer down.
scythe08 and RockinChair Thank this.
