This is the first time I've ever heard that. The company I'm talking about runs red daycabs. Maybe you're thinking of Frontier Transport in La Porte that pulls pneumatics and intermodal containers?
What’s a respectable cpm for tanker these days?

I saw the same posting, but on Trimac's own site. The pay definitely seems low for that particular job, and I'm guessing it's dedicated freight for one customer so Trimac must have negotiated a lower rate for the contract. The listing also says drivers are out 2-3 days per trip, and even a team would have trouble making the round trip from Houston to Canada and back in that time frame. Either they're relaying those trailers somewhere in the middle or the ad is out of whack.
I've been looking through their various job listings, and the pay is all over the place. In my area, they just posted a regional job for 65 cpm loaded and empty but the post also says it's mostly weekends off which sounds to me like more of a dedicated type run. Last year they posted an OTR job here for 75 cpm loaded/70 cpm empty, and that position/pay is still posted in other locations.scythe08 Thanks this. -
