It's kinda like WHY ARGUE IT? Decades of combined experience are all saying I'm wrong.. Which is rare:)

Not mandatory, it only benefits you, throw a 1/2 twist on the straps, keeps them quiet and from flopping down the road. It’s only a tip. ;)

At least they didn't give you the classic "we get trucks in here all the time" B.S.

Got that once in Latrobe, PA. Then you show up with 70 feet of truck and trailer. That was an interesting experience.

Maybe I'm missing something, I only see one lane. Possibly call that a 2 lane bicycle path. At least he didn't say "we get trucks in here all the time".

This one bothers me a bit. I know most of you guys put a twist in the strap, I on the other hand, will climb to the top of my load to straighten out a strap so I have no twists. I guess I’m somewhat of a perfectionist, but the twist really bugs me. I don’t have trouble with my straps flapping or making noise. I say just get them tight.

The twist comes in handy on stuff like drywall or foam board. Stuff u can't winch down real tight without breaking it. Or product that likes to settle alot as u go down the road... I'm also of the belief that a half twist seems to get the strap tighter. But this is just my own opinion from my own experience. I am not a scientist
