    Hey everyone.

I'm a current Linehaul driver working for Old Dominion. I actually love OD and wish I could transfer, but they're absolutely slow in Jax.

Moving from VA to FL to live with my fiance, but it's so hard finding something. Anyone know if there's any Linehaul or P&D positions available? Nothing seems to be available online

Stay in touch with OK in Jacksonville even though you might have to work somewhere else in the meantime. When OD has an opening, you'll already be in Jacksonville and that will be an easy job-hop.

AAA Cooper: Jobs | AAA Cooper Transportation

I went through a list of the top 25 LTL carriers and checked all of them. Only AAA Cooper and Central Transport are currently hiring in Jacksonville.

If you decide to branch out from LTL, here's a bread delivery job I found: Class A Delivery Driver - TCI Careers
The pay is pretty underwhelming, but that's kind of how it is for most jobs in Florida.

ABF is on the west side of 295, give them a call. We are hiring system wide.

Seems to me they all would have a terminal in or near Jacksonville, with 2 major Interstates crossing there.

I think you’re nuts for giving up your OD job in VA. Florida is horrible for good paying trucking jobs, because there are already so many drivers in the state, unemployed as truck drivers. There simply isn’t enough jobs to go around.

    Only thing I got:

Even CRE is better than Central. At least CRE’s trailers look halfway road worthy.
