who are these guys that use channel 6?

"Clarence Carter"....the same one that did the famous dance song "Strokin"? If so this is the first I've heard of him being associated with CB.

Oh yeah....Prime Minister....those that don't know is the same guy known as "Sir-Mix-A-Lot" that had the famous "Baby Got Back" song back in '92.

Interesting that a rap star plays with CB radios.

 

From time to time I'll hear 'Repo Man'. He's pretty funny to listen too.

If any of you have pal talk he has his own room there and sometimes he will show live video while he is building one of his amps. The room is called.....Prime Minister's house of Superbowl bosses.

I'm sure he did make some $$ off of it but then the hits started to dry up and a record company doesn't hold on to you if you can't make them money.

One hit will make you a boatload of money and if you invest wisely it will support you in a decent lifestyle for most if not all of your life...
The problem with most musicians that get a hit is that they don't realize at the time that it may be ther only one they get and they think that that record deal is their ticket to superstardom and life on easy street forever.

Some wind up dead and some wind up workin' in a carwash...Life can take unexpected turns.

I know a guy that was a guitar player in a band called Paul Revere and the Raiders in the sixties and is now an O/O trucker after pissing away most of his money on BS.

I was bored the other day and was listening to channel 6. One guy went by triple 3 and said he was from Jersey. I was in KY just west of Elizabethtown on the WK Parkway and he was peggin' my CB like he was within a half mile or so of me. I heard a few others too, but that's the one that pegged me the most. These guys gotta be on the FCC most wanted list.

 

I have appreciation of skill, not who can throw money at a problem.

Bleed your ### off on 6 with 100k while the guy on 36 usb found an open freq and talks coast to coast on 4 watts.

Why do the the idiots on 6 repeat themselves ? It takes 10 times to understand their overmodded distortion boxes to be understood.
