Last year and this year right after July 4 flatbed tanks hard.
March, April, May, June is the big bucks.

I've seen many lanes rates cut 30-50% between June and August. It's that big of difference after July 4th.

Winter with flatbed can do okay if you stay in the cold states because nobody wants to go there.
South states in winter you won't survive.
Too many trucks chasing $1 per mile loads to avoid snow.

    77fib77 and Trucker61016 Thank this.

Do yall have driver facing cams and what's the hometime like. I almost went with them when I started driving /Crete/Schaffer back in 2016..seems I hear a mixed bag but nothing too terrible.

    77fib77 Thanks this.

No driver facing cams… As far as home time if your National it’s out 21 days and the way their system works at day number 15. The computer automatically starts routing you right back home unless you say otherwise so you’re home on time every time unless something happens, which is very rare over here in my experience…. currently no cameras at all on the truck unless you hire on and you’ve got accidents on your record or your employee here already and you get into a preventable accident or get a speeding ticket then you get a driver facing cam for 90 days

Tug Toy, 77fib77, lual and 2 others Thank this.
