Looks like LOH is not what is advertised. My offer is .59 plus safety bonus Not sure holland is my best option. Any other holland drivers have anything to add? Kinda disappointed that it’s not what I thought it would be. Holland drivers please add your thoughts. I’m supposed to let them know by Tuesday

You'd be starting out making more than I am. I'm currently at .565
Rugerfan Thanks this. -
How much experience do you have? I might need to have a talk with them about my pay if new hires are getting more than me after I've already gotten a 2 cent raise since I started.fromAtoZ, trucker-chase, Lonesome and 3 others Thank this.

Try it out, run hard you make $$ and stay busy
Lazybones11 Thanks this. -
I have over 20 years experience Been driving since I left Air Force. Proud of my safety record. Not sure why they would not offer the .60 they advertise.
-
I'm not sure either. That does seem insulting. It's only one cent, why couldn't they go ahead and give it to you.
-
These companies will advertise what they can to draw applicants.
If they can get someone to agree for less, it’s a win win for them!fromAtoZ, trucker-chase and Rugerfan Thank this. -
The number of companies that advertise six figures and you’ll be lucky to get half is nearly the entire industry at this point lol. Any lie to get you into the seat.fromAtoZ, Speedy356 and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this.

Average means just that, not a guarantee of miles. You WILL average 3,000 if you run and manage your time. They are offering more $$ to new guys, but that’s often the case.
hotrod1653, Lonesome, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I guess I would ask them why you don't qualify for the advertised 60 cent rate.
If the answer doesn't reflect your perceived worth then let them know that's why you're not accepting the offer and move on.
Personally I don't think it's the length of haul or even the money since it is minimal sum, but now there is mistrust and doubt.
Never have driven for them but run the same area.
That said I've been on this site awhile and trucking for much longer.
Seen em come and go and truth told if I was in the middle of my career Holland would check enough of my preference boxes...
I'd think a new job w a new customer base, new equipment and dispatch that appears to let you run like a professional without the hand holding that many others tolerate is an added perk in today's trucking environment.
Bottom line is I wouldn't let one penny be my decided factor.
Good luck to ya.fcfightermma, hotrod1653, motocross25 and 8 others Thank this.
