I'm overtrucked for the month and struggling my way back to Gem City.

Fortifying myself at the Haus in Calhoun GA.

I was all set to quit over that failed inspection debacle, but the Roving Troubleshooter lady made them pay me.

I got breakdown pay for sitting at Love's, layover pay for waiting at Peterbilt, mileage pay for the rental car trip to the recovered truck, recovery pay for getting the truck, and $500 to not quit. Plus regular load pay for the relay to the MotherShip.

I just got the largest single week check I ever got......I guess I'm viewing this company from the wrong angle.

A Roving Troubleshooter lady who can get stuff done and get people paid might be worth sticking around........even though the company seems a disorganized mess at times......

    I know....."Oh, well.... that's trucking!"

But I'm so close to the finish line that I don't wanna hear it anymore.

BTW, The Waffle House in Calhoun still has Cinnamon Crunch waffles.

It might be in Kentucky, but I guarantee it came from The Pennsylvania.

I know a guy from Kentucky, he said some of the horse and buggy boys down there would take a rear cutoff of a pickup truck, rig a PTO shaft onto the pumpkin, stick the tractor in neutral, kick the PTO on and he said he personally drove a 4020 that achieved 60 mph. o_Oo_Oo_O:confused: Do you know what 4020 steering is like???????
