Just some of the stupid things I see

When I was pulling a bucket we never allowed them up on the trailer for fear if they fell.

 

A lot of folks out there want to commit suicide by cop.
Maybe this guy was one of them.

 

They make you sign a release form to search the int of your truck.
Make them sign a release form before getting on or in your rig.

 

Well this DOT #### near committed suicide by stupidity from sticking his head in a tanker. I don't know what he could have been thinking because that certainly is not part of an inspection. I guess he wanted to know how bad of an inhalation hazard aqua ammonia really is. Knocked his ### off the trailer. Even nonhazardous material in a tanker can hurt or kill you if you open the lid and breath in the gas. If nothing else you can be blown off the trailer if you don't know what your doing. Theres been a few people killed that way opening railcars.

Just a quick correction here. Regs state you need TODAY's log and the last SEVEN days. So technically, it is 8 days, but not the LAST 8 days.

Nitpicking, I know, and really shouldn't make a difference if yer runnin legal (or close to it. )

Edit: And thanks for the stories DB. Nice to have some form of dialogue between us drivers and THE MAN.
