here's the deal with using the RV and Firetruck files for the C-12
Depending on the engine serial number you can uprate to 505 Hp, but at the same time you lose 100 ft-lbs of torque. The highest horsepower truck file is 430HP at 2100 1650PT at 1200 depending on the serial number of the engine. The earlier engines are only 410 Hp
The 2KS1-39999 has a 455HP at 2100 1550PT at 1200 RV and Firetruck file this I wouldnt even begin to consider. A 25 hp gain with a 100 ft-lb torque loss wouldn't be worth it
The 2KS40000-71999 has a 505HP at 2100 1550 at 1200PT RV and Firetruck file
The 2KS72000 and higher serial number has the same 505hp rating as listed above
I've always felt that if you lose torque people will not be as happy even with the horsepower increasing

Exactly. I ran 375 HP with 1550 ft lb torque in a 12.7 Detroit, and could out pull an identical truck with a 3406E, 435HP. Give me torque over HP any day.

i agree with not giving away the TQ for HP.. there are better ways to go after more power. -
but when whoever tweaks the file gets the torque back its pretty cool believe me I like it
It holds the hills better now than before -
