SheepDog Thanks this. -
Only because he was a cop.
A 22 year old lost all of the computers in the house for his family. He had to move to his grandparents for the period before trial. His parents home is across from a school.
He is facing 10 years in prison for a first offense. -
My point exactly
-
What really is disgusting, is that Canada searched my computer looking for child porn. They stated 50 percent of truck drivers search and have it on their computers.
I now wonder about the police and the customs officers. -
Yep, good thing truckers don't look at porn... or engage with lot lizards who might be underage... and rarely get caught or prosecuted.
trucker_101 Thanks this. -
"Child pornography is not a victimless crime. It steals its victim's innocence one photograph at a time," Berlin said in a statement
While the above statement is true, why than do we not EVER hear of the ones taking the pictures and posting the pictures getting caught? I don't even want to hear that they cant be. I am in the US Military and I know a bit about what our Intelligence can find out. Our Govt. has Unlimited funds and equipment, those people can be found. They should be found and delt with in the highest degree. Where are the Cyber patrol to keep this stuff off the net????
Looking a child porn is discusting and perverted but, 27yrs protecting and serving his community should outweigh viewing photographs. Don't get me wrong, he should be punished, kicked off the force and sent to rehap, if that even works.
I always just think; WWJD....corny but true.
Just my .o2 -
They have that authority in Canada? To just grab your PC and search it? -
Even worse when you come back into the states.
They can just seize it and claim homeland security and you may never see it again. -
ok, so even in the Country I serve to protect, it is legal for them to "Just Grab" your PC and search it? No warrent or anything? What suspician would they have to have to do that? Maybe those that use their labtop for logs??
