After looking at more than a few places for training, I have a question for those experienced in the trade.
How much training is enough?
I was looking at one company, the train you two weeks then you are on the road with a driver for 3 weeks, then you are on your own. Another company trains for 3 weeks, you are with a trainer for 6 to 9 weeks, before you are on your own.
I realize it just depends on the company, how good your trainer is, and how good you are. But if you, as an experienced trucker, could make the choice, how long would you like people trained before they are on the road with you?

Cpt John Sheridan: Are you trying to cheer me up?
Susan Ivanova: No sir, wouldn't dream of it.
Cpt John Sheridan: Good, I hate being cheered up.
Susan Ivanova: In that case we're all going to die slow, agonizing deaths.
Cpt John Seridan: Thank you, I feel so much better now
