Looks like it might be a winner. Just wanted some "Informed" opinions.

$30k!!!! Holy sheet! They are smoking some #### good stuff I'd say. I paid $30k for my 05 379 with 400k on it 2 yrs ago. Id say 15k tops for that truck if that.
-
That is way too much for a truck that old. In fact, you should find something comparable for about half that amount. I did speak with a dealer the other day who told me that older or pre emissions trucks are fetching a bigger price tag. I think he may have mostly been trying to bolster the prices of his own trucks. -
The guy prices his used equipment way to high and a lot of it is worn out junk.
Has a couple 2004 PETE 379's for $69,000.00

I can't believe he is trying to sell those trucks for those prices. -
Probably a good used truck- I would consider that Sterling to be like a "Western Star Light".
But he's asking way too much. -
Stirlings are basically a sheet metal Ford Vocational Cab. They rust and corrode bad. What's a vocational? Look at your city/state/dot dump/work trucks, that's vocational.
Thus they have less resale value than say a Pete or KW, Star or Mack. Any time you buy a truck you need to remember that you'll want to sell it/trade it in some day.
So yeah, it's over priced for just that reason.Mdbluecrab Thanks this. -
Offer him 16 cash
-
I'm particular what I'm seen in.
Ruthless Thanks this. -
A buddy of mine just bought a 2006 KW T2000 with a C-15 Cat...
400,000 miles and he got it for 29k....
Nice truck, all aluminum wheels and super clean.
I would sure pass on that Sterling...Yuck!
