Give Conway and Prime a call. If you call Conway... speak to Keturah in recruiting and explain your situation. Both companies are located in SW Missouri and treat their drivers well.

With all the intermodal companies in your area you should have no trouble working for free. There are probably some who will even let you pay them.

I'll make a deal with you. Move here to MD, I'll let you drive my truck for .5cpm. That'll leave me with .41cpm to sit on my ### all week in front of my 52 inch LCD TV and catch up on all the TV shows I've missed for, I don't know how many years.
If you do good for the 1st 6 months, I'll deduct .1cpm from your pay. We'll do this every 6 months until you reach .0 cpm. Then it goes into reverse. You start paying me 1.cpm and every 6 months we'll add another penny until you work for nothing.
If you really like the job after that, you can start paying me .5cpm to drive my truck with increases every 6 months.
Now that's the best I can offer you buddy. Take it or leave it.....

There's no need to work for cheap. You just need to be willing to go where the work is and do the kind of work that's available.

Everyone wonders why rates are so low, people like you are part of the problem. Have some self worth and go out there find a good job and work your ### off. If you put in the hard work it will pay off, no sense in working for so #### cheap...

The OP started another post about losing his job while in training. I think he's dead serious, lol.
