I've been running like a Mad Man and staying as busy as I want to.
Right now I'm home in CT for my 10. Breakfast, Shower and nap in my bed. Then heading to Bethlehem, Pa to the Cold Storage. -
Aberdeen Idaho to pick up taters, then to Blackfoot Idaho to pick up more taters, then to Mississippi to get rid of the taters

Sitting at the house for the weekend, then up to the bay area, Ca.

Murfreesboro, waiting on them to finish loading trailer. Will drop in WCH, OH tomorrow, then drop trailer in Logansport, IN, then start vacation after a 3000+ mile week. Been a great three months, but I need some R&R!

Shippers think I don't know my own truck and trailer. This time I flatly told them it was too much weight. It's the nature of the beast to scale it and show them proof. Unfortunately it was a 20 mile round trip.
I asked and got their direct phone number because it was after 2130 ans the sign said they close at 2200.
BTW, I had less than 1/4 tank of fuel. Scaled 860 over gross. Called them and they ok'd me to fuel 3/4 tank and re-weigh so their cut weight won't leave me handicapped by stopping for fuel every couple hours. 1300 over gross.
Meanwhile the night time Prime dispatch guy is telling me to slide tandems out of the 6th because I'm not going to CA based on my Macro 42 message. I gently reminded him that yes I needed to shift weight, but if he did the math he would see that yes I can balance but 1300 lbs would not magically disappear from 81300 gross weight.
2 guys and a darkened dock quickly removed 2k and I was rolling.
14 ran out near the a TA in Terrel, Tx. Grabbed an 8. Got as far as 2.5 hours down the road to Bowie, Tx as my 70 is running out. Gonna grab another 8. Leaving out tonight near midnight. I just might have enough hours to make Limon, CO.
This load isn't gonna make it on time based on my available hours I get back from my 70. Boss says keep moving and someone will get it figured out by either getting the appt changed or a repower. He has the weekend off.
Sucks if he comes in Monday morning and it's not taken care of. Great for me as it won't be my fault, an I'll have ticked off another 1200-1500 miles for this check.
Utilize every last bit of your 70 to turn miles. Without a restart you won't see those hours again for 8 days. -
Just dropped and hooked in Jackson, GA. Heading to Shelbyville, TN for Tyson then to Springfield TO UPGRADE!!!

Im at the T/A in Redding Ca. Stopping early just cause I can. Got 735 miles to go and cant drop til Monday.
