I have yet to be offered a load for $2 a mile from Robinson and I don't know of anyone else that has. I'd like to see the trip sheet where he claims to be offered that type of money for a van. I'd have to say that most drivers are taking these cheap and heavy loads which is why the rates are so bad. Until that stops they will never offer a decent rate.

I'll look for the rate sheet on mine, got a load from them, fertilizer I believe, from central Ky to Melbourne Fl area, $2400 to the truck, 36,000 lbs and they were open on the weekend to recieve it... CH Rob load and I have done many others that paid that well, like was said though, if you take the first offer the rate sucks... from ANY broker!!! Schneider books some pretty good stuff to the truck too...

I hate unloading in mud... but it comes with the territory at times I guess. Uploaded a couple pics of a well pad I was at last week, made three trips but got stuck once :biggrin_25511:.

The 386 and 387's aren't to bad. Hopefully you'll get lucky and you won't get one that has those lovely electrical bugs running around inside.

    387's suck

And the 386 is the same as a 379/389 except for the sloped hood and no aircleaners. So im sure theyre nice but i like my hood

as long as you don't get one of those Peterbilt trucks that looks like a Volvo.

I think the 389 model is killer. The 386 that has the sloped hood, but same as 389 sleeper... I would rock that, too.
