I made more than that as a 7/7 trainer. Hell, I made more than than on the 7/7 board not training. That was when there was a lot of freight though.

Insurance is going to run about $85.00 a week for Physical Damage, Occupational Hazard and your non truck liability. You won't do any better through OOIDA.

This may seem like an odd question but I'm going to ask it anyway.

If I lease a truck through Roehl, can I hire my own team driver?

So let me ask you leasees something, why do you want to lease? Can't be the freedom becuse companies govern your trks, you still have to go where they send you don't you?Do you have more rights then a company driver? You don't get hometime when u want do you?Bottom line is you're nothing more then a company driver making their trk payments.I imagine what you drivers pay is higher then what the company pays out for trk payments. When you get a load do you know how much it pays and how much of the seetlment you receive versus your company?I imagine O/O have alot more rights then a lease operator.

There are so many assumptions in this post that are wrong, I don't know where to start. Plus, the spelling, grammar and sentence structure makes me think its not even worth trying to point out all the inaccuracies.

I would start at the beginning and be sure to qualify your corrections. The spelling and grammar corrections can be left to the teachers forum.
I thought Pattyj was making valid statements.
