As far as reefers goes, I ran into a friend today that pulls them, he says he is running around 3k a week and loving it.

Just a few questions. If you go to Roehl training and hire with them, how does the tuition payback work? Are you committed to a year with the company? Do they supply a room while in training? Can you go national and not team drive or slip seat?
Thanks in advance for you input.

If you get your CDL thru them you pay for your room ($400) If you have your CDL and only go to orientation they pay for the room, the tutuion for school is paid back through mileage based program where if you drive 120k paid miles for them school is free, anything under 60k and your on the hook for it all, in between and there is a portion paid off thru mileage. National keeps there truck while hometime fleets slipseat, and I think you can only team with a spouse, but not sure about that.

Thanks for getting back with me about that. I would rather do National, but do not really want to team or slip seat.

I heard you have to have some sort of Canadian driving permit to drive there. Is this so?
