I was told, and it is in my hiring packet, that the driver takes his/her truck and trailer on hometime, and is responsible for finding secure parking for it themselves. They want you to have the trailer so you can go right to a pickup when you come back.

I hear Roehl is hiring in Texas with a terminal in Dallas. Any info on this would be appreciated. I just sent my application to them. Seem like a real upfront company.

I know they are really looking for regional to run within a 500 mile radius of Dallas. Flatbed I think, but not 100% on that.

    DocFrank Thanks this.

I'm national, but had a load that delivered in Houston about three weeks ago. My next 4 loads were all Texas runs. This was van loads, so I guess they need some regional drivers there. In Dallas, Roehl only has a drop yard, not a terminal.

    Freestyle12 and DocFrank Thank this.

Just finished physical in Tucson a few days ago and am waiting to hear back from recruiter on orientation details. So I am seeing back and forth here and different threads that there is orientation training in Phoenix... then no, I'll be going to Gary... anyone got the low down or am I just at the mercy of waiting for my recruiter to get back to me?

As I understand it, you would be advised to call back your recruiter yourself. It shows you are really wanting to work.

There is training in Phoenix, but it fills up quick. I lost my spot due to the doctors at the physical not writing down my neck measurement, which delayed my confirmation. Was going to go to AZ on 5/28 but class was full, and it would be another month before I could get in again. So going to Gary on Monday, it's all good for me. But if you really want Phoenix make sure you have the time to wait to get an opening there.

How many days from when you took your physical did you hear back? I took mine on monday, emailed recruiter tuesday and she said waiting on their medical officer. Here it is friday and still no word?
