Many truckstops used to actually have wake up service. The old Ontario 76 even had the fuel jockey bring a large cup of coffee to you, when he'd come beat on your door. You just told the fuel desk who you drove for, what your truck number was and what time.

Holy crap !! I forgot about that stuff. Didn't the old Wagon Wheel in Saint Albans, Vermont, used to have that ?

I don't know, never been there. But, wake up service was common. The Ontario 76 was the only one that ever brought coffee to me, but all of them would come out and wake you up.

I have always had a real good experience at shoemakers in lincoln, ne. Easy in and out, plenty of parking, and real friendly staff

I don't think this will count as a truck stop but I really do love the weigh station rest havens in Kentucky. There is always plenty of well lit parking available, the bathrooms are always clean as well. And since there are a lot of police around, no one knocks on your door in the middle of the night. I wish more states would follow suit and create truck rest areas at their weigh stations!

Until you get that knock on your door from one of those nice police officers wanting to do a DOT inspection.. Makes it easy, they don't have to travel far to find a victim.

And Florida. I've never had a knock on my door (as I'm knocking on wood)
