Had a pretty cool trailer today for about 50 miles. Too bad Miller Chill is some pretty crappy beer.

One of the head dudes at the Charlotte shop told me and another driver that the trucks were erroneously recording critical events......can't remember why, but you might want to get it checked out anyway.......

This is the crux of it, right smack-dab here....and it's dead-on.

I'm hardly an "old hand", but I learned on what was standard highway equipment of the 70s and 80s. Pretty cushy now in comparison.

Thanks, and I hope so. I didn't think I took that corner all crazy and wild-like. The only thing I can think of was this wind out here. 18-20 sustained and gusts of 40-50. I guess if I got a CE due to wind hitting the truck just right when making a corner, it's still on me. I probably need to take into account such things. But heck, I was making that left hand turn from a near stop (I was 3 cars back at the light) for Christ's sake!

speed is recorded during these things. also location. They can then google earth to view location if need be.

Have had several hard brakes. Last one registered in the truck but didnt with DBL ( I disagreed with it anyway. not one thing moved in the cab. Also when I was a lot greener than I am now, I was put in a black 2010. Had one HB that I owned with no question but was made aware of another on that same day, that one didnt register to me or in the truck as a critical. Turns out there was a loose connector/plug somewhere in the chain. The previous driver had a series of HB's in that truck, and none in the one he was in after.

    It is something to consider.

My truck records hard brakes when I lose traction and abs is activated, always empty or bobtailing and I hit a rough spot. Never any deceleration, but the truck has 4 on it now from that, dbl hadn't said anything yet.
