Well i live in Greensboro, NC, and they told me all what they had available...regional home weekly, otr tanker, and otr for one week, then one week home....

 

If you want to make money plan to stay out 3 weeks. My first week after thm miles suck about 2000. That'll bring home after taxes around 650$. Next two weeks I try to to hit 2800-3000 which I normally get. That after taxes brings in 800$-1100$ a week. I prefer per diem doesn't affect me since SNI pays way more then any other company. You need to not touch the cash advance on your card also. Being regional they have different pay for stuff. I still haven't figured out what my actually pay is a week when try to do my own math. Being in a family is tough I see a lot drivers leave because the wife can't handle it.

my wife is the one pushing me lol...but shes a rare one....im figuring .37 cpm starting out and hoping to get 2000-2200 miles per week, then figure any other things ill get paid for during the week....i should be ok. Thats what I was told to figure to get a ball park range

Sorry man, that's just not true. Straight from the general manager at Des Moines. We qualify for bonus right from the start. I got one the first quarter I worked.

 

They just recently changed the bonus guidelines didnt they? I'm not sure, someone correct me

 

I got 2 bonuses my first year.

 

Well what a surprise, 15 degrees out and I can't idle. How did i know this #### was going to happen. SEMs response was to ask me if I'm next to another truck. Nope, I got the back of a flat bed on one side and the back of a dry van on the other. Unless their brakes and tires are on fire there's no heat coming from them.

Yea, this sensor is a great ####### idea. I'd really like to have a few words with the genius in GB who decided to waste their money on these things.

I'm almost tempted to run lights and other things until the truck is so cold and dead it won't start and will require a tow in the morning.

Hopefully Maverick calls me tomorrow so I can call my DBL and give them my 2 weeks.
