So Bud in Baldwinsville is putting bolt seals on outbound loads now, are the other bud breweries doing this? Just wondering if I need to get a set of bolt cutters, cause my luck the customer won't have them for some reason.

 

I don't carry bolt cutters, if customers are going to accept Bud products they need to have bolt cutters. I delivered in Athens GA and they cut it for me, just the other day.

 

Bud in Cartersville but a bolt on one load I pulled out of there a few weeks ago going to Ebro FL. Miller in Albany puts the wire ones on sometimes so I started carrying a good pair of wire cutters to get them off.

 

Bud I'd STL is also using bolt locks now. Most of the distributors know this and have bolt cutters.

 

How will you strap the load?

 

before the doors are closed and the bolt put on.

 

Which means you are out the straps if you drop, unless the other driver is there to trade you or you cut the seal.

 

Just because there are times we get preloaded trailers at the Millis yard which are pre sealed.
