Trooper was parked on the left shoulder. Maybe i'm wrong but i thought trucks are PROHIBITTED from the left lane on the illinois tollway. This trucker better have a #### good reason for being in the hammer lane but i doubt he does.

I have never heard of any other incidents where a corpse was towed inside of the vehicle away from the scene of a wreck. Usually they remove the body at the scene before the tow truck is even called out.

Bunch of sick SOB's at the Chicago PD standing around watching as they remove the dead body. Taxpayer money hard at work. Don't they have better things they could have been doing?

I dont know and i'm not a cop however i know of crime scenes where the body is left in the vehicle while it is towed to a location so forensics can do a detailed exam. Maybe this Troopers body was so badly charred that removing it at the scene would have been a major ordeal. I guess we will never know unless it is reported.

Yes the trucks arent allowed in left 2 lanes on 294 but really they need to make it left lane only like most other major cities.
Definately the driver is goin to jail for this one. for a veryyyy long time.

RIP Trooper. Condolences for the family.

I would agree with you on this one, prbably did it so they could get the road opened back up. But you know as well as i do that if they did it right there people would be complaining because the road was closed for so long.
