When I see all trucks in the right lane, then I will join them. You can't legally go more than 55, in cali anyway.

This is just one reason to stay out of CA. Again, I know what the law says in CA. and other parts of the country. CA. law says a lot of things that are unreasonable. Just because the law says it's illegal doesn't mean it's reasonable. The rest of the "civilized" country doesn't have laws like this because people can think for themselves; Unlike the Utopian country or I mean state of Utopifornia.mje, x#1, Weeman7898 and 1 other person Thank this.

the state of Georgia is supposed to be enforcing "slower traffic keep right".i have been seeing troopers pull the slow trucks over for impeding traffic flow so i guess they are being called in on at the *gsp deal.
I EFFING LOVE IT.you morons that just ride, ride, ride in the middle lane, making all pass you on the right or left deserve getting a ticket.speed limit has nothing to do with it.if you are getting passed on both sides on a three lane, you need to move over to the far right.period. -
travel through Ga. much? the signs read "slower traffic keep right".the state is now flashing the same message on their traffic alert overhead signs so they must be meaning it.i hope they write as many tickets as they can to you traffic impeders-mje Thanks this.

true but i get tired of having to pass slow trucks in the high dollar lane but i do and will continue to.it's that or stay bunched up.in all honesty,i should not have to step over there to pass a slower running truck in the middle lane. courtesy should dictate that the slow truck move to the right lane but we all know that common courtesy is basically non-existent regarding the "modern" driver.
i have been hearing on the cb that is how they are trained to drive, run the middle lane regardless.i try to not ask on the radio why the slow driver is running the middle lane due to keeping my blood pressure in check so therefore i pass'em on the left for the most part and sometimes i pass'em on the right.either/or as i refuse to get bunched up and can't understand why the slow trucks bunch up.
if it takes a "driver"(term used very loosely) more than 3 or 4 miles to pass another truck, that"driver" has no reason to attempt the pass but that is mho-Last edited: Aug 13, 2013

I'm not a OTR driver. "slower traffic keep right" is horrible wording, as that can be interpreted in so many ways. That's basically saying no one should EVER be in the left lanes.mje Thanks this.

Except in places like Dallas where the right lane usually peels off to an access road.
Drive safe
Marymje Thanks this. -
Sounds to me like someone thinks he owns the middle lane and everyone else should relegate themselves to the merge lane to benefit the lone driver.
Note the wording. I don't advocate driving the speed limit in the left lane (cars or otherwise) when the bulk of the traffic is moving 10 MPH faster, but this bill is dealing with THE LEFT LANE and for the purposes of this topic, the LEFT lane on a 3 lane freeway. Sorry you're having a bad day and have contempt for others who are forced to share the road with you around Atlanta.fuzzeymateo and mje Thank this.
