Expedite Solutions - scam, deceit, trickery, slavery

Herb: we left ES the end of May 2006.

Prisionerofthehighway: I cannot PM you about Panther. PM you need 50 post. Panther is a good company. We had no complaints with Panther when we drove for them. Our complaints were with Expedite Solutiolns only.

I have seriously doubted ES is a legitimate school. Hence my looking up the laws for the requirements of a CDL school. As I suspected their practices do not support a school nor does their contract.
Even by duration of a CDL school it is required the school be no shorter than 16 days in length (by contract the school was suppose to be 11 days in duration but was actually shorter. It is also required that the teachers all be licensed CDL teaching instructors both in the classroom and on the range. E.S. does not have licensed CDL teachers. I also just found this posted on ripoffreport.com by teamdriver.

"5. Why do the ES website and the contract refer to Expedite Solutions as a proprietary training school? We called the Indiana Commission on Proprietary Education (C.O.P.E.) and asked about ES. They are the regulating agency for ALL proprietary education in Indiana and have never heard of ES. They told us that if ES is claiming to be operating under that guise, they will be investigated and shut down. They also advised us to contact the Attorney General for the state of Indiana to further pursue contractual legality, and we are in the process of doing so now. And please don't try to claim that ES is operating under the authority of C1 or Drivers Solutions. We've made those phone calls as well and have learned that ES does NOT operate under their umbrella as a driving school. In fact, one of their Vice Presidents disavowed (do you know what that means?) any affiliation with the training services at ES other than the use of their driving range."


I am going to contact the Attorney Generals office and IRS (needless to say, again we have not received a 1099 for this years taxes. Does anyone else have any suggestions as to what we should do?

 

Yes, but we still have never received a 1099 for last years filing either.

Linda, I cannot get the legislative thread your speaking of to come up. How did you get to it?
I know what you mean when you say you cannot stand it much longer. We tried very hard to last out the 12 months however gave up after 8 months.

Please, on your Expedite Solutions hotshot acct all of the postings by Stephnie telling everyone what they have to do (you have to take Canada loads!, you have to accept all these loads! you have to, you have to . . . ect) I am sure she is still doing this and the e-mails she sends you with her orders are all future proof you are an employee of Expedite Solutions and not an independent contractor. The 'required saving, the required laptop, the required financial advisor, they are all proof you are an employee not an independent contractor so make copies of and print off everything you can where they are telling you what loads to take, another one she likes to use, you will be fired, also the ones telling everyone they can't have over a couple days off per month like the one that was posted about the holidays that drivers could take no more than 5 days total for the holidays because Expedite Solutions had truck payments to make. Make sure to get a print out of these e-mails. Do not trust leaving them in the hotshot acct as she has access to go in and delete e-mails from your acct. I have been reading on the internet and from everything I am seeing we were employees not independent contractors. This is aside from the bogus school.

I wish I could give you my phone number or e-mail also but I don't think we are allowed to on here? This is the negative side of this site. All of us that have been wronged have no way to get together to do something about this person through a group effort.

 

Hi Herb, been sitting here going through this trying to find that leg code. Can't seem to find it. Admit I might be overlooking it as I am still not feeling well so am not up to par. This has been one wicked flu!
