Sitting up here in WI tonight. Got to the customer and they were closed, but luckily the workflow was updated with remarks which had a gate code. So, locked myself inside for the night (hope they don't mind LOL) and will head out for my pickup tomorrow. Picking up a relayed load headed into the middle of BFE in New York. Nice 950+ mile run though so that's OK with me.

Are we allowed to run any toll roads we want in WI and IL? I came up here on the Qualcomm route which was lots and lots of two lanes in order to avoid tolls. Don't want to head out that same way tomorrow.

    Kutina Thanks this.

ya, run 294 outta there, just no 80/90 in Ind or Ohio
don't bother with US41 in Chi. if your routed that way, take 94toll, its about 10 miles outta route, but hours faster
    or 294 and bypass all

Jill will try to route to avoid I-90 heading from Chicago to Rockford just like she'll try to get you use US 30 thru PA instead of I-76. Run the toll road if it makes sense.

Depending on where you are though running the back roads is faster. If you're in Janesville, WI heading to northern Indiana or points east it's actually faster to run the State highways down to IL 173 and then take that east to 294, especially with the 45 MPH speed limit on I-90 right now.

once he gets to 76-80 in ohio he'll prob want to take 80 across Pa. BFE NY suggest western NY or upper NY.

I'd take 294 around Chi and then drop down to take 30 across ohio to 71 NB to 76 eb then catch 80 from there. US 20 kinda sucks but if it means it routes him better to get to NY via 90 then he should take that. IF thats the case once you hit toledo , I would do route 2 across ohio to cleveland and pick up 90 there.

A lot of you guys would be happier over here in bulk. We run any road we want and fuel anywhere we want as long as it's In network. The day they route me will be my last day. I have been trying to recruit Diesel over to bulk but if you guys are customer service oriented there is money to be made over here. You want independence, more money and an easier time of it make the switch. I hope some of you will consider this.

I plan on applying for bulk once I complete CDL school the beginning of 2014.. That is if they are still advertising it in Indianapolis..

I'm jealous of the food ya'll have at Gary, so much better than the crap they serve at the Charlotte OC. Wish I came through there more often.

Very good day today, 550 miles from Gary IN towards my destination. Just a little under a couple hundred to go in the morning.

I keep playing phone tag with the Choice guy in Green Bay. Whenever he calls I'm driving and whenever I call it goes to voicemail. Figures.

Its getting COLD. Which of your cold-loving Northerners wants to come pre-trip for me in the morning?

No preassignment yet so who knows where I'm off to next.
