Another reason the Landstar business model is not for everyone,if it was then everyone would be here using the opportunity to run a successful operation. Its more about running a business and less about driving a truck. There are far more company drivers with truck payments than truck owners operating successful businesses. Thats what gives me the advantage here at LS.

that is the truth. there are business men that drive a truck and there are truck drivers that have a truck title or payment.

Success is achieved by using your natural abilty combined with the tools you have at your disposal mixed in with alot of hard work. Im sure there are just as many successful business owners at Mercer as there are at LS because they fit the model.

"George Hayes - George started the company in July 2002 and dedicated the company to our Lord in June 2005. As President, George works resolving problems, making decisions to enhance the company and making sure we do all we can to ensure our owner operators success. We do everything we can to ensure our dealings with everyone is with honesty and integrity."

I didnt get past this part. Using God to make money I smell a crook

I doubt this company is using God to make money. I will guarantee you they probably have at least as many drivers who won't drive for them because of their stance as ones who do. Without drivers, this business model would not make much money. But aside from that, are all of us in the trucking industry now just so cynical that we can't ever believe anyone has honesty or integrity? Maybe this company is a sham, but it's a shame we have to crucify (pardon the pun) them just because they claim to have a higher standard.
