Questions for people who have experience teaming at US Xpress.

Ritchie lee you need to understand something about HD_Renegade he is a very unhappy person with us xpress, the reason...?

he broke company policy and fmcsa reg's and took a truck and trailer on what amounted to a 500 mile joy ride....! it's a long story..... USX didn't even fire him for it just wanted him to pay the out of route mile charge for doing it and not even all at one time but payments, but no HE QUIT. that alone should say something about them. to this day he still thinks he didn't do anything wrong

FLOOD you truly have no idea of what you are talking about. You do not know the full situation at all. I did what I was trained to do, the difference is, I do not have to put up with a company that treats people so badly. I could go on, and on, and on and trash you about this and sticking your nose into something you know nothing about, but I was raised differently, and I made a promise to someone you know that I would back off on you. You are pushing my limits. I was raised to respect people, and I was raised to be honest with people. Like it or not, but someone you know, asked me to back off on you. It is something called respect, and integrity to say the least.

So back to what I said, USELESS XPRESS is the worst company I have ever worked for. They treat people like crap. The DM's are some of the worst out there and that is only a large reflection on the company as a whole.

You can respect me, or you can back off, as this will be the last time I will respect that persons wishes that I leave you alone. Does respect, integrity and honor mean anything at all to you, then you will leave me alone in your issues with me.

 

Ritchie - your best bet is to go with just about any other company out there. USXPRESS is looking for the driver that has no home, and has no family. The DM's will treat you like crap and use you and abuse you the best way they can to keep you making them money. They can care less on what you are making. You would have to kiss their but and let them know you are their little slave for them to use and abuse. They have one of the HIGHEST turn over rates for drivers. I have worked with a lot of companies, and USX is the worst to work for.

 

LOL, 0-1 years experience and "worked with a lot of companies" Man, you are one funny dude. If only everyone with three whole weeks of driving experience had the deep insight into the industry you do.

 

Again, the "full situation" that we are aware of is based upon YOUR story, we have never heard US Xpress' side of the story. So what part did you lie about or leave out? You told your story and everyone but you thought it was your fault, you refused to take responsibility and you were likely fired, according to you, you quit. Either way, you did something incredibly stupid and refused to take responsibility. Not really the man of integrity you pretend to be. then with three whole weeks of driving experience you keep coming on TTR as a US Xpress "expert" Very sad, really. I would have moved on.

Being a truck driver is kind of hard. A lot of people fail at it and all of the larger companies have horrible turnover. Part of that is that they will take most anyone to fill a seat and so many are not prepared for the lifestyle. HD continues to whine "you don't know the whole story" but the part we do know is his side. Pretty sad really.

 

There is a lot more to working a job other then Trucking, you for one should know this very well. Did you happen to forget about the "3 FAILED Businesses that you had??? From what I have heard KARMA is catching up to you too. How is that motor doing in that truck you bought???

Unlike you I have never lied about or made up anything about you, Since this is now something like the fifth time you have made this accusation, usually including personal attacks about my divorce from my wife of 23 years, I feel compelled to respond. I had one business fail 27 years ago. It was an appliance store and my business plan sucked. It was a great education since unlike you, I learn from my mistakes. I purchased a financial management and bookkeeping company three years later and successfully sold it once I started my Employment Background Screening company four years later. In 1999, I was approached by a public company that wanted to acquire my background screening company. We were not huge with just 22 employees but I was not really interested in selling. I turned them down three times and when they made a fourth offer I decided to make a counter offer. To my surprise they accepted my offer. I had really had no intention of selling the company but there it was. I cannot say it made me rich since after retiring the debt, paying cash-out offers to my employees and paying taxes we made less then 500K but my wife and I also received executive employment contracts with a great public sector company. We moved to the Corporate Headquarters in Colorado.

Why am I driving a truck? All of my clients were the major investment banks and lenders like Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse Bank America and Countrywide. When the mortgage backed securities market crashed in late 2007, my career ceased to exist. Driving a truck with my amazing wife has been a blast. Doing the job right helps with the fun part.

All that said, what does any of this have to do with you failing to check your load on a trailer you sealed? I would be very careful embracing Karma.

No Sir you again are incorrect again. I never made this a personal attach at all, you and flood did that to me. I have not once lied about anything. It is you and flood that have to keep digging things up and rehash them. I for one will always Stand My Ground !!!
