Great tips so far guys! I saved myself quite a bit of dough for a custom mattress (sadly the mattress Success Leasing puts in their trucks is poor but they offer an upgrade for some $$$ lol). Instead of paying $200 or more for a good mattress I got online and searched until I found what I wanted at Sears. A twin xl memory foam mattress. Cost shipped was less than a $100 and it fits perfect! Its very comfy.

I bought the 3" memory foam mattress from Walmart for $100. Best $ I've spent so far. It's a little shorter than stock mattress but works out OK.

Every bunk mattress I have had at Prime has been a TwinXL. It's sometimes referred to as a "dorm mattress" because it's usually the standard size most colleges have in their dorms.

TwinXL seems hard to find at Walmart unless it's back to school time. Especially mattress topper type products.

Year round Bed Bath and Beyond has a better selection in quality, however that quality is more $. You could search online.

anyway wherever you get your bedding just remember TwinXL for sizing and you won't come up short or too much of what you are looking for

We had that topper which is half memory foam and half regular foam (if the same one) but for about the same price we got a 4" gel memory foam topper at Costco that is amazing.

I built a shelf that fits at the bottom of my lower bunk ('09 Cascadia)... vertical sides to it fit into the bunk shell, and the matress slides in between them. Just make sure you have enough vertical room for your feet. Bungee the microwave to the shelf, plenty of room for extra storage beside it. I have plastic shelves bungied to the top of the microwave as well.

Oh I have, she then tells me to stay home with the kids and she will go work. I then tell her ok do it if she can pay the bills so much better....yeah she doesnt like that either :p

I have the gel pillow from costco, best $30 I ever spent on a pillow, my wife tries to steal it from me every time I go home. I might have to look into the bed topper, how much is that one at costco? I will have to check what size mattress my freight uses since its bigger than the prostar I was in.
