Rolled my truck

The word liar doesn't appear anywhere in that post. A half truth means he's trying to tell the story and not give the real details of just why it worked out the way it did. He was going too fast on a narrow 2 lane road , met 2 other trucks got nervous when he felt his trailer hit the shoulder , yanked the wheel. , lost control and went into the ditch.

 

Not telling the truth is lying, so yes, you did in fact say that he was lying.

 

Its a 200 k loss min to england as they are self insured for first million i assume.....so 120 for truck 50 k for walmarts trailer plus freight and cleanup wonder how long before its greatwide on that account man i would almost consider it if the rate is there home every weekend abd 2700 miles a week

wow I have gone though this again and really hate the way its twisted into a cut the driver down making it sound like he's an liar. he told the the facts as best he could from being there and what experience he has. Granted the trailer may have hit the soft dirt and it felt like to him wind or maybe it really was wind all of us that has pulled vans has felt the shift of air coming from passing trucks its more like the lack of wind then hit with it again you fell it and depending on how alert and prepared for it for it you are it can cause problems.
No matter what the case was I am sure he will not edge that close to the white line again we all make mistakes and learn from them.

Yes the fact of hitting breaks hard enough to though his wife out of bunk to avoid the deer was a mistake and after getting told its wrong I am sure it won't happen again.
But instead of chastise him over it explain why it wrong. if your hitting the breaks hard enough to toss someone out of the bed your risking the lose of traction for 1 and think about that cargo back behind you it shifts wrong and you can be in a world of hurt but I guess I think about that a bit more than some guys since I am flat bedding now (not saying I did not worry while pulling a box) and the load shift I could very likely have it slamming my head I mean the dang trailer headboard probably could not stop a potato fired from a real potato gun LOL

Its little things You need to know and work though your head over and over I mean how many drivers screw up by touching breaks after a steer blows I personally was worried I would mess that one up till the day a steer blow bounced the frontend from the right lane to the left in a heart beat foot started heading toward the break but brain took over and just held it on the road till I got to the side and stopped. So Chevy352 there is a new tip steer blows don't hit the breaks it can shove the frontend of the truck to the ground and cause major problems if it don't roll ya.

training needs to be better and cover more of these situations other than just a passing comment
