I would like to hear exactly what you are calling low pay --and be specific .
And dont forget to "Tell all" - any monies they are pulling out of your pay for say -school, health insurance, per Diem, 401 k, and that little thing they call deductible or equipment damage fund.
Please answer whether you are a rookie company driver, experienced driver or leasing.
I am not being a smart .... but you posted no info so for anyone to feel for you, it helps to have accurate info.

    Inquiring minds want to know.

Let him get a year experience first. You don't want to be labeled a job hopper before you even start your career.

Freight is sluggish? Not sure where you are running. Right now it's as busy as ever with the ridiculous weather and capacity crunch, the shippers are really backed up with pent-up freight.

I'm not complaining but I'm the type to talk to the person if it's a problem going on, and dispatch rather talk through the driver tech inside the truck. But maybe I'm rushing things, I just got my own truck maybe two weeks ago and by got my own truck I mean I am a company driver. Idk maybe dispatch is testing my nerves to see if i can handle it which I can. Maybe I will go teams with another driver but idk will see how it plays out thanks all for your input!!

Can you elaborate more? Like what kind of miles are you getting per week? What is your CPM?

The best way to make money in trucking is with a good printing press!!:biggrin_25525:

A high quality ink jet printer is both cheaper and more portable.
It is lighter by far, and actually fits in your truck.

And with a press you need plates.

With a computer and printer, all you need is a good scanner.

I'm getting like 1200 miles a week and us xpress has there drivers on a sliding pay scale, meaning more miles you run the less they pay you, and the less miles you run the more they pay you!! Getting less than 200 dollars a week is really not worth it!!
