It's not that bad, but you need a plan for parking. After you've hit the 10th hour, it's certainly time to start thinking about it. Take for example hitting Tulsa off of I44 around 2300 Central. The truckstops will be full, although once you get past midnight, many of the night owls will start leaving... I've found nice spots around 0200 in the back of the J. But the point is, in areas that you know you'll have trouble finding a place, you don't want to pass up a rest area while you still have 45 or 50 minutes left to drive. That's a change from on paper when you hit 11, and THEN look for a place to park.
You can't trust that all of the rest areas are open, and some states will ticket you for parking on the exit from a closed rest area. The same goes with Walmarts... some of them are located in malls, and they don't own the land; those locations usually have 12' 4" gates to prevent you from parking a truck in the lot. So "knowing" the parking before you get into an area is gold if you need to run close to your 11.
so, you think your safe with the elog and hos.
