Hi, I need some help on which company to switch to.
I'm only 21, goin on 22 in 2 months so I cant go for Boyd, tmc, etc. I currently have 3 months experience working for swift flatbed. I live in philadelphia PA but I don't care about home time. I just want to stay out and get as much money as fast I can pretty much. That's means good pay and good miles. Back when I was getting trained I had him train me as an owner/op just in case I chose that path so I have pretty good knowledge about it and am open to it if it suits me.
the reason I want to switch is because swift pays way to little and other minor things. I really only came here for the 3months exp. Boyd required before they told me I had to be 23 :/
I dont want to go to maverick. I'm in the process of trying to learn more about gypsum express, ct transportation, bct transportation, hunt. If anybody has any info or recommendations about these or any companies it will be GREATLY appreciated. (for the most part i'd like to go wherever i'd get more money)Thank you.
flatbed direction help?

As a driver with little experience, don't limit yourself to flatbed. Nothing wrong with flatbed don't get me wrong, but as a company driver you should be able to hook up with a van company that can keep you rolling with drop and hooks.

Why not maverick?
You qualify for the glass division(area you live in)..which pays very well.
Flatbedding is good hard work but you don't always get paid for all you do.wyio Thanks this. -

What about Green Tree? I'm not sure if they do that but I do know they operate a reputable company and pay their bills on time. Just a thought. Contacting them couldn't hurt.

Skip every bottom feeder mentioned so far. Find a small local outfit and start your career out right.
