I think you will do just fine. You have a good attitude Firestock. I have no desire to own a truck myself.

Were I in your shoes though, I would use this opportunity Schnieder has given you to to really learn what running a truck costs.

Start a spreadsheet and track everything you do with that truck. Record every fuel purchase, maintenance repair, tire purchase, the whole 9 yards. Calculate exactly what it costs to operate that truck per mile. Use Schnieders truck to learn and develop a way to know what it actually costs to run a truck.

Go to the library and get a library card that will allow you to download audiobooks for free. While you are going down the road listen to some business oriented books. You have 11 hours a day. Why not learn from those who have made a lot of money about how they did it.

Well actually I am doing the spreadsheet thing already but of course I idle this truck ever night which my own truck would have an APU to not idle but still helps calculating cost and stuff and the audio book thing sounds smart but this truck doesn't have a CD player lol it has an aux jack and 2 SD card slots but that's it

Do you have a smart phone or tablet? There are library apps that let you "check out" audiobooks on your phone. You just type in your library card number and pin. If they are popular books you put them on hold and wait in line for them to show up on your account. The ones I use give you 7 days to listen to them. Overdrive and Onetouchdigital are the ones I use.

I used them for about a year but $15 a month for 1 book. I listened to 2 last week alone from the library. Most of what I bought from Audible is at the library for free. Plus if you don't like something you just return it.

    Time4Change and Shotta1981 Thank this.

You can buy 3 credits for 30 bucks. You have to download long titles then you will be okay. Throw in some podcast days and then your good.

Yeah I'm not paying for audiobooks. Totally not worth $15 a month
