This happened to me today.. Freaking upper Montana wind's raped my fuel mileage from Billings MT to Great falls MT.. could not keep it above 5.5 (40k in Box and some climbing) it all added up. Also winter fuel blends tend to knock fuel mileage down also.

Now on the other hand I have been told the Pacaar motors do real well with a head adjustment after about 50-100k, No idea why at that few of miles, but it just seems to make a huge diff.

Why can't you work over 14 or 70 hours???? It is perfectly legal to do so. The reg's state: you can't DRIVE after 11,14 or 70 hours. Nothing says you can't work past those hours. And I always log my post trip off duty. SNI has never said a word about it.

I was under the impression from SNI orientation and from talking to some other SNI drivers that SNI policy is that you can't work after 14 or 70 either. I think it was in my new driver "business agreement." Not sure now because it's in my truck and I'm at home.

you can work more than 14 or 70 you just aren't allowed to drive until you have had a consecutive 10 hour break and you regain hours on your 70 but work which is non driving is allowed.

SNI policy, not DOT, states we can work over 14
hrs a day, but we cant work over 70 period. If you log a post trip over you 70 you will get a violation
